Very common and small intertidal crab less than 1 cm wide found. Males have horned eyes in contrast to females.
潮間帶非常常見的小型螃蟹（不到1厘米寬）雄蟹有一雙角眼，而雌蟹的眼睛沒有突起
The waving display of males resemble the Buddha worshipping gesture and hence its common name.
雄蟹揮手的動作像「拜佛」的姿勢，故名為「角眼拜佛蟹」
Also called the “Incision Crab” as its waving display is similar to the Japanese ritual suicide “Seppuku” originally reserved for samurais.
亦有「切腹蟹」之稱，因為其揮手動作與日本武士切腹自殺相似
