Chek Keng
Description
Chek Keng is a sheltered bay in Sai Kung which comprises various intertidal habitats such as estuary, mangrove, mudflat, pebble beach and sandflat. Despite its remoteness and inaccessibility to land transport, its beautiful seaview draws more and more visitors especially campers to the site these days.
Transport
Chek Keng is on the Section 2 of the Maclehose Trail where the closest starting point is Pak Tam Au. Pak Tam Au can be accessed by Kowloon Motor Bus Route 94, 96 and Minibus Route 7. Trek all the way down to Chek Keng along the well-paved Maclehose Trail, whichtakes around 1 hour.
Alternatively you can take the Kai To Ferry from Wong Shek Pier and get off at the Chek Keng Pier, which takes around 10 -20 minutes.

Chek Keng Public Toilet is next to the stream outlet by the seaside.
