Mangrove
Mangrove habitat is made up of salt-tolerant mangrove plant community living in intertidal zone such as mudflat and estuary. Rich nutrient input, complex root structure, low-oxygen soil condition and the mixing of freshwater and seawater of the mangrove provide a plentiful yet challenging feeding and nursery ground for the intertidal species and hence support an important mangrove ecosystem.
