Sai Wan

Description

Sai Wan, also known as Tai Long Sai Wan, is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sai Kung. Its white sand, spectacular landscape and tranquillity makes it a popular site for locals and visitors. What is more is the mixture of rocky shores, sandy shores and estuary habitats which support diverse wildlife in the intertidal area.

 

Transport

Take the Resident's bus route No. NR 29 in Chan Man Street, Sai Kung and get off at the final stop, Sai Wan Pavilion (or taxi). Remember to check the bus schedule beforehand. Take the right well-paved trail towards Sai Wan Village which is around 45 -60 minutes, there will be ups and downs,but the stunning scenery of the High Island Reservoir will accompany your journey.

Follow the pavement, Sai Wan Public Toilet is next to the heliport on the beach.
