Similar to its close relative, the Purple Climber Crab, it has a smooth and flat body with pointed walking legs for quick movement.
與其近親寬額大額蟹相似，具有光滑扁平的身體結構和尖尖的腿，可以靈活移動
In contrast to the Purple Climber Crab, there are two prominent “teeth-like” ridges on the side of the carapace next to each eye, and hence its name, “four-“ (quadri), “tooth”(dentatus).
四齒大額蟹與寬額大額蟹的區別是，前者甲殼側面眼睛處有兩個突出的「齒狀」脊，因此得名「四」(quadri)，「齒」（dentatus）
Both a fearsome predator and opportunistic scavenger on the shore.
既是可怕的掠食者，又是投機的岸上食腐動物
